DANISH TABLOID EKSTRA BLADET IS OMITTING THE NAME OF DEFENCE LAWYER IN FRAUD CASE

July 8, 2017

Today Danish High Court (Ø.L.) suspened the nameban against one of the persons kept in custody in the case about fraud with the refunding of dividend tax amounting to 37,5 million DKK, Danish tabloid Ekstra Bladet reported on June 21, 2017.
The person in question is a former office clerk (HK) at the Danish Treasury, who in December took part in a sensational DR TV documentary about the much grander case of fraud with the refunding of dividend tax amounting to 12,3 billion DKK during the years 2012-2015. According to Danish Serious Fraud Office the two cases are related.
At this moment the former consultant at the Danish Treasury, 68-year old Sven Jørgen Nielsen is charged in both cases.
“His lawyer informs Ekstra Bladet that he that he is denying the charges”, the Danish tabloid reported.

QUESTIONS:

As Ekstra Bladet has been communicating with 68-year old Sven Jørgen Nielsen’s lawyer, why is Ekstra Bladet omitting the name of this lawyer?
We the people deserve to be informed about who the lawyer is, don’t we?
Why does Ekstra Bladet write about 68- year old Sven Jørgen Nielsen that “he is denying the charges”?
The normal thing would be denying being guilty in the charges, wouldn’t it?
