IDENTITY OF MALE DANISH EXPATRIATE CURRENTLY HELD IN CUSTODY FOR TAX FRAUD IS STILL KEPT IN COMPLETE OBSCURITY

June 24, 2017

On May 24 a Danish expatriate living in the USA was heard in a preliminary hearing at the Court in Lyngby North of Copenhagen. This happened following his arrest at Copenhagen Airport the evening before.
After the preliminary hearing the Court in Lyngby decided that the Danish American was to remain in custody. On June 19, he was prolonged for further four weeks.
Together with an elderly man, who previously was employed by the Danish Treasury (Skat), the Danish expatriate is charged with gross fraud against the Danish Treasury amounting to 37,5 million DKK. The gross swindle took place in 2007.
According to Danish Serious Fraud Office (SØIK) fraud was committed when without justification there was applied for the refunding of withheld Danish dividend tax on behalf of a foreign company. These payments allegedly happened 14 times in 2007.
When the two men were arrested in the month of May the Court in Lyngby ruled that their identities were to be protected from scrutiny by a nameban.
Nevertheless, while the identity of the Danish expatriate from the US is still being kept in the dark, the Court in Lyngby has suspended the nameban concerning the elderly Dane, whose identity already was partly revealed by Danish national broadcaster DR on December 20, 2016.
On this date the elderly Dane emerged as one of several sources in a tv-documentary named ‘The Billion Coup’.
Regrettably, this DR TV documentary is no longer available on the web, although one might say, that it would be an expression of supreme public service spirit if the national broadcaster would reconsider this matter and grant the Danish public a renewed access to this highly relevant journalistic video product.
According to Danish Serious Fraud Office (SØIK) it seems, that this minor and earlier case of fraud with the refunding of dividend tax amounting to 37,5 million DKK is one way or another related to the much grander case of fraud with the refunding of dividend tax amounting to 12,3 billion DKK.
The absolutely staggering swindle case took place from 2012 to august 2015, when the swindle was somewhat belatedly brought to an end by the Danish treasury Skat.
1 US dollar is around. 7 DKK.

QUESTIONS TO SIMON GOSVIG AND OTHERS AT SERIOUS FRAUD OFFICE – OR TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Who is councel for the defence here in Denmark concerning the Danish American expatriate?

Does the expatriate also have a councel for the defence in the USA?

How old precisely is the Danish expatriate living in the USA?

What is his education?

What is his profession?

Is he a Danish citizen og an American citizen?

Who is counsel for the defence concerning the elderly Dane?

The surprising emergence of a false notariate at the Court in Lyngby some time ago, as communicated by the court via a press release makes a bit more sense at this moment than ever before, doesn’t it?

In what prison is the Danish expatriate being kept in custody?

What does the records of the Court in Lyngby actually state about the age of the charged Danish expatriate?
According to a local news outlet the records of the Court in Lyngby have candidly stated, that the other male person charged with fraud for millions and kept in custody in this case is born in 1949.

“The judge is considering releasing the names of the arrested persons, which eventually will happen within the next few days,” Jesper Høberg from Danish daily Jyllands-Posten reported on June 7.
Since then one of the names was duly released, but not the name identifying the Danish expatriate. When will the judge be ready to release his name?
