January 18, 2017

For more than a year Dubai-based Sanjay Shah was Danish police’s main suspect in a case of fraud for billions with the refunding of dividend tax.
Nevertheless, during all this time, Danish police never asked for his extradition from Dubai. This was reported on January 16, by dr.dk.
The footdragging attitude has taken the chairman of Danish Parliament’s Legal Affairs Committee, Peter Skaarup, by surprise.
”It is due time getting him questioned, so that we may learn what is bogus and what is facts in this case” Peter Skaarup states.
”A request for extradition would also imply, that we could start working through the political channels to get him extradited”, Peter Skaarup said according to dr.dk
Peter Skaarup urged the conservative Danish minister of Justice Søren Pape Poulsen to start accelerating the dialogue with Dubai.
”The following question to the government is, how much contact there has been to the British financier if any, Skaarup is stating,” according to dr.dk
The giant Danish scandal about fraud with the refunding of dividend tax is currently amounting to 12,3 billion DKK.
Solely due to Peter Skaarup’s parliamentary efforts the public recently learned, that Dubai-based Sanjay Shah is now “considered charged” in this staggering fraud scandal.
The chairman of Danish Parliament’s Legal Affairs Committee, Peter Skaarup is from Danish People’s Party (DF).
