QUOTE: Where is the money now? Actually I have invested in a row of things. I have bought some companies, and I have bought some properties. My stance is, that I have done nothing criminal, so I don’t have to hide them.” END OF QUOTE

On March 4, 2016 Danish executive daily Børsen published an interview with the main suspect in the staggering billion case about fraud with dividend tax siphoned out of Danish tax authority Skat.
In March the known amount of suspected tax fraud had reached 9 billion DKK. It has since been upgraded to 12,3 billion DKK.
The main reason for the interview was, that the founder of Solo Group, Sanjay Shah, at that time willingly confirmed, that he had collaborated in siphoning 9 billion DKK out of Skat by having dividend tax refunded. In his own opinion he has got hold of the money legally, and Sanjay Shah claims that he has done nothing wrong.
The double page 6-7 in Børsen consists of 4 different items all written by Tor Johannesson.
One of the four items is headlined “Fears ending in Danish prison”
In this item, Sanjay Shah, who is currently living in Dubai, is asked:
QUOTE: Where is the money now? Actually I have invested in a row of things. I have bought some companies, and I have bought some properties. My stance is, that I have done nothing criminal, so I don’t have to hide them.” END OF QUOTE

If Sanjay Shah is of the opinion, that he has done nothing wrong and doesn’t have to hide his investments, the public should be offered a published list of his acquisitions. In what companies did Sanjay Shah actually invest his many refunded billions? And in which countries are the companies situated? What properties did Sanjay Shah buy? And where are they situated?
The interview has a feeling, a flavour and a texture of being performed in Danish. Is it really possible? Or did it actually take place in English?
Was there a personal encounter between the reporter and the interviewee? Or was the interview performed by phone?
How did the newspaper manage to get in touch with Sanjay Shah?
Did Sanjay Shah call with his pressing matters? Or was the initiative with the newspaper? / Ulla Danielsen
